Ugh, I hate when people kick my seat in the theater. LOL at the idea of throwing caramel popcorn missiles a them.

I'd recommend reading the book for sure. I've read The Hobbit many times, along with the Lord of the Rings books, and I actually prefer The Hobbit. I will say that Radagast the Brown is only mentioned in the book so that entire scene in the film was an addition...but like you, it was one of my favorite bits.

There are actually going to be two more films, so I'd also recommend reading the book so you don't have to wait two more years for the conclusion of the story :)
