The items might have been a bit cheaper so that they can sell more items. But I know what you mean. Why spend money on something that looks cheap. You want it to represent the HP series it better look good.

I went to Universal HP in Orlando and I bought some items but I got a lanyard, some stamps, a nice glass, and some candy but that was it because some of the items just weren't great quality like you stated.

I find the lore of Sherlock to be interesting. Yeah I'm sure the show made it so it had long lines! :/
