Itchy eyes and randomness

My left eyelid started to get really itchy and painful, so I had tried to use some sort of topical creams, thinking I had some small invisible wounds and such. After one week, it didn't help anything, and my eye started to swell.

Doctor says I have a case of bletharitis. After reading up on it, it seems more like a Seborrheic blepharitis as I had flaky-looking skin on my eyelids and such. Doctor prescribed some topical cream with chloramphenicol and it seems to have helped. I have a slightly swollen left eye and I'm on strict instruction to lay off the make up, so I've been going to work looking like a zombie the last 2 days. 5 more days of treatment now.

This is the last weekend my parents are going to be around for a while. They'll all head off to Europe and only return in mid-August. Party time?

The the UK thing, me being shallow and uninformed and naive, I'm just thinking what to do with my remaining british pounds.

Some kind of role reversal has been going on at home. I thought usually it's "kids that ask for parents for a supplementary credit card". I went to get my mom a supplementary card this afternoon. She's secretly happy (she hasn't said anything mean to me this evening) so I dunno. Small victory?

Friday Five's not out yet and I missed this week's Wordless Wednesday. Let me hunt for a photo now.

I'm sorry to hear about your eye problem. I've had blepharitis before, but I do not recall if it was called seborrheic blepharitis or not. I was advised to use baby shampoo and rub it gently against my shut eye. I did that in the shower, but I had to be careful. I also might've used a warm, damp hand towel pressed gently against it. I'm glad the cream you've been prescribed has helped.

I had something like that years ago when I worked at a bank. Tried a variety of things, but it turned out I had an allergy to all the particles on money lol. It didn't fully go away until I quit.

If its a lot of money then best to keep it where it is... I doubt it will fall more than it did today

sorry to hear about the eye thing. that's probably one of the most irritating places to have an injury / disease / etc. i had pinkeye once and it was a nightmare. hope it goes away soon!
