I'm so confused by this lol. Normally when you have a dead battery, you get a jump and then drive the car around for about 30 minutes so the alternator can charge it again. I mean, straight replacing it is I suppose less involved, but also batteries are dang expensive. Is jumping not a thing there?
I bought a new battery myself a few years back and it kept dying bc I had a slow drain from an interior light that wasn't going off, but once I fixed that it's been fine, so even dying several times, it still works great now that the drain is gone.
Unless ofc he tested it onsite and found that it was too weak or something...
