Haha, i totally agree I should get out there and mingle... well, I say “newbie”, but I’m really not. I probably have one of the longest seniority in the company, and not far from the president himself. I was working on an older property/project before, and my boss there quit, so after some 7 or 8 months of management non-decision on what to do with that place, I later got transferred to the new project. I basically know all the people here (they all originated from my old place). I’m just newest into this project.
I’m now reading a book called The Genius of Dogs by Brian Hare. I took a course on Coursera, but I quit half way as the guy’s tone was way too chipper for me to take any course seriously. However the topic was indeed interesting, and the guy mentioned his book. So I got the book to have a read. The tone is still too chipper, but at least I don’t hear his high pitched voice.
