1. Do you pay attention to fads?
I guess when it's really hit and really popular no one can hide from them? But I don't really follow or go seek them.
2. What were some fads when you were in high school?
Tamagotchis (or is it Tamagochis?) I suppose. Everyone had one. I wanted to have one but I never got around to getting one. Eventually much much later, I got a Pikachu Pedometer-Tamagochi thing (did an Easter Holiday part time job at a game shop and the owner gifted me it), but by then the fad died out. I think just a couple years back there was a second wave of the Tamagotchi? And then in Harajuku, Japan there is a Tamagotchi store or something?
3. What were some fads when you were in college?
I dunno. I never really paid attention to them. I guess the dance dance revolution game? Again, another thing that everyone was talking about but I never really got around to doing it.
4. What fad, if any, influence (d) your life the most?
Given my answers in #1 and #3 I guess we can all say that... no? LOL
5. Are there any fads from the past you hope never come back?
I don't care about fads so it wouldn't matter if they come back or not. I think more appropriate are the stupid viral stuff nowadays. I wouldn't mind if Baby Shark is never sung again, and the Apple/Pineapple pen song will never make a comeback. Viral stuff can be considered as fad right?
