And as all things are when it comes to the process of acquiring an in-depth level of knowledge and understanding in any given field, it takes hard work, rigorous effort and endless hours in order to be able to even partially understand the intricate dynamics of the fascinating nation which is Japan, and the minds of its endogenous people living within the nation.

Once again, everything starts from the people.

However, as I’ve stated previously, it is realistically almost impossible for an average individual to obtain an in-depth level of knowledge in every given field in life. Thus, most people including myself, rely heavily on the heuristic method in order to conduct our daily living.

The process of procuring an answer to the unique collective psychology possessed by the individuals living in the historically isolated nation of Japan is no exception, as most people rely on heuristic techniques and reading terse, generalized sentence-long answers, which are simple enough to understand on a superficial level. And with all due respect, the problem with the individuals who are the providers of such short, overgeneralized answers while nonetheless adamantly promising you of the complete legitimacy of their claims is that they most often suffer from the Dunning-Kruger effect, which is a cognitive bias held by the people who hold a low level of knowledge on a given field paradoxically having a stronger sense of conviction in that their answers are the right one.

Let’s take the pornography question, for example. Some answerers on internet platforms give answers such as,

“Japan is the third-largest economy in the world, so it is only natural that they have a porn industry which matches in level”

“It is due to the rising Western influence in Japan slowly deteriorating traditional Japanese values”

“The answer is simple — It’s a huge business! Not just for the companies producing pornography, but for the government as well.”

While such answers may indeed possess a partial level of truth within it, it is just so far from being the true answer.

Hence, this book will be taking a 47,000 words-long dive in what will be a journey into understanding the secrets of the true psychological framework of the average Japanese individual in which no one has yet dared to reveal in the world of traditional publications, where adherence to political-correctness is a must and even comes prior to the ingrained level of actual truth within the answer.

And once you finish reading this book, you’ll walk away with an understanding of the inner Japanese psyche that no non-Japanese individual has yet to ever possess.

I guarantee it.

= + = + = + = + = + = + = + = + = + = + = + = + = + = + = + = +

I don’t understand why they haven’t actually published the book. Well, this is not like “the greatest book ever”, but nor is this one of the worst books I’ve read (that have been formally published). I guess I’m just salty I can’t add this to my Goodreads “Read” bookshelf.

Quite insightful and I sort of have been unconsciously aware (and in agreement) with their writing.

Needs some work on editing though. I wasn’t reading this in proofreader mode so I didn’t take notes, but I caught a couple of repeated texts in the beginning, and towards the end, a full repeated page. This was a PDF document so it wasn’t an epub file going wonky after images.

Still an interesting read while it lasted.
