WTF?
Currently a bit miffed by a colleague who just called to tell me to go walk over to an office building totally 10 minutes walking distance away from my office to show her potential tenant of the office space... just because I have access and her usual "you are the boss' assistant and I am doing this for the boss, ergo, you have to do this for me".
WTF
She's the landlord representative and she didn't even ask someone from her team to accompany this potential tenant and I had to deal with it?
I was totally purposefully unprofessional about it and didn't help her tenant at all. Coz honestly, I didn't know what I'm supposed to do. She asked me to "go open doors", so "go open doors" I did. He asked about floor plans. "I don't know". He asked about location of certain rooms (e.g. electrical room, boiler room, etc...), "I don't know". And about this other room that shows on the floor plan but nobody knows where it really is. "I don't know."
I then asked her about certain unknown areas, and she goes "we don't entertain those, just show the general area"... I was like, "You could have been more clear before you sent me off to do your bidding which I have no business in doing for you, really."
Then he started to ask me about pricing and the terms, and I was all like "seriously, you need to talk to the landlord rep and not me". And I reamed her (my colleague) a good one about this.
Ridiculous. Wasted a whole hour just opening doors.
