When I have too much free time....

..... I do stupid things.

May I present to you, my 2020 travel plan!

• End of February, Taipei weekend (Friday, Saturday, Sunday)


• End of March, Tokyo (TBA) friend's birthday trip


• Mid of June, Taipei weekend (Friday, Saturday, Sunday)


• End of June, Kyoto/Osaka (just because the airline was doing a promo... I got cheap tickets)


• Sometime September (TBA) Trio Travel Buddy trip to Russia (Moscow, St Petersburg, maybe more)

I'm considering another trip in November or so... maybe Seoul, or somewhere Thailand, Bangkok or Chiang Mai, but that is to be planned.

I need work to be reinstated so I am not constantly scrolling around for cheap flight tickets!

Friday Five 17-January

1. Do you like it when people drop in to say hi without calling first?
Absolutely not. I think it's the way we were brought up at home. Mom never had much casual visitors, only the big Christmas family dinner. In fact, I hate it when people call the landline without giving us a heads up by text first. Weird right? Now that I am writing it, I do see the weirdness too.

2. When you go to dinner at someone’s house, what do you bring as a hostess gift?
I... hardly ever go to anyone's place for dinner. We go out for dinners, yes, but not to anyone's homes. In memory I went to one dinner, Mom's right friend. We did bring wine. It was a dreadful affair.

3. Do you send thank you notes after a nice dinner or even a gift?
Oh yeah of course we have to thank for gifts!

4. Do you like entertaining or do you prefer just hanging out?
Just hanging out. I don't like the responsibility of entertaining people.

5. When you have company, what do you do to entertain them or is that all on them?
um... hopefully I don't ever have to do it alone. During the Christmas parties, I simply..... let the dogs out LOL the dogs can entertain the guests hahaha

It's finally Saturday!

I've sort of lost the sense of time...

You know what, I think I now know why I used to blog so much before. I had too much time! I had been itching to write a post every day the past few days... but I didn't want to be a long-winded boring person, so I held it off.

Frankie has a quick vet visit this afternoon for his cartophren shots. A young dog not even 2 years of age and already on cartophren shots? We noticed he was favoring a hind leg when going up the stairs, had the vet do a check and he says it's hip dysplasia. The vet loves the dog, it's funny actually when you see them together.

Mom is actually threatening to give the dog to the vet because Frankie is causing a lot of trouble at home. To be fair, I think it's not all just Frankie. Sai Lup has a part on it too. It's simply just Frankie wanting to play and Sai Lup's way of response is... a lot of growling and barking. Otherwise, Frankie's fine. I think.

Frankie's doing a good job buttering mom up as well, LOL. If I could just post these photos of him in bed with Mom... but Mom says not to post them haha. Let's just say he lies down like a human, right up against Mom snuggling against her.

There's word going around that the government is going to stop all work for another week.... Nooooooo! I'm bored out of my mind without work... I don't want to start a puzzle or a model because if I don't finish it within a day I don't want to have pieces lying around for Frankie to take away. Read some, boring book. Netflixed some, podcasted some, yoga-ed some.

Oh, and I have a manicure scheduled tomorrow! Then MONDAY! Work day!
