Approaching the end of the trip

Well, we’re approaching the end of my trip to Portugal, we’re now in Lisbon, staying at my suburb apartment. I remember the apartment being larger but maybe that’s because I was a kid and smaller back then, so I found the apartment larger?

Some mishaps already. One of my friends opened the store(?)(blinds?) a little too harsh and broke it, now the store is rolled all the way up and we couldn’t let it down now. Mom is having a fit over in Macau as she’s worried about her furniture getting the brunt of the sun.

I’m not trying to point fingers but my friend could have said something. Even if it’s not apologising, I mean she can say “oops, that was me,” it’s not like I’m gonna throw her out. I know the stuff around the apartment are old now and easily breakable, so yeah.

I know suspect which of them because the other one was sleeping at the time that I heard a bang or crash of some kind. I regret not running out to the living room to ask what’s up, but what’s done is done... And this friend that I’m suspecting, she made a big show of saying “my new baggage is small so I couldn’t bring anything extra back” at first (as the only “form of payment” my mom wants from us for using the apartment is to bring some adult diapers from there), but suddenly, now she’s all “we can all each take 2 packs so you have 6 packs”

Meh.

She didn't even say "Sorry"? I don't understand some people, it's not like there was much choice on who could have done that.

Childhood memories are funny - everything was bigger and brighter back then.
