A New Wave Of Cases
The last couple of days have been tense.
A sudden surge of new COVID cases. Case number 71-75 came popping up one after another in quick succession.
Schools and entertainment venues have all been instructed to close for a few days. I didn't get to get my nails fixed yet. Oops! Some students who live in Zhuhai (China), and had come to Macau for class on Monday morning are now stuck in Macau, because borders have suddenly all closed. They can't go back home now. *There are people who actually live in Zhuhai but work or study in Macau, because the border can be crossed on foot. So they "enter" and "leave" Macau on the same day as part of their commute.
Heck, even my German class, which I was so looking forward to, had to be postponed.
All-people PCR or Nucleic Acid Test to be done again. I've booked for the family for tonight at 10pm.
Government institutions will be closed for 3 days. Can't do any government related stuff these days. I know some people were supposed to get married by civil registration (whatever the term), and even those have to be postponed now.
There's also talk about immediate closed-loop closure for quarantine if any of the hotels get a case. By closed loop they mean that even the staff working on location have to be contained. Hindsight may be 20/20, but really, you'd expect if it's a quarantine facility, then it's a quarantine facility.
I'm just here hoping things get resolved ASAP because, I don't want to be quarantined, I don't want them to close public venues like dog parks and such. I don't want to be sent home because, home is boring (LOL).

Although, Australia has every restriction possible, police enforced, and we're still delta-ing. I'm just fully confused over this virus.
