Monday, 11 June 2018 17:111) Where did you go, and what did you do, on your last vacation trip?
Guess what, I’m actually ON my vacation as I write this XD I’m currently in Osaka, and this is my last day. I was in Kyoto the past 3 days.
2) How often do you take trips for pleasure?
I make sure to have at least 1 long-haul trip a year with my friends. I then take short trips whenever I can. Because of the dogs at home, I can never take holidays in July and August, these 2 months are my parents’ traveling time. Oh, I also didn’t have a long haul trip in 2017 because... I had like 3 long-haul trips in 2016
3) How much vacation time do you take each year?
If it’s for the long haul trip then it’s 2-weeks. For short haul trips 3 days are good enough if it’s Taiwan’s or Thailand.
4) Are you satisfied/happy with the amount of time off you can take?
Depends on when you are asking me. I get easily dog-sick (I miss my dogs, not my home haha) When I’m planning my trips I’ll think “I need more days!” But then when I’m on my trip I’ll be like “when can I get home to see the dogs?”
5) What would be your ideal or dream vacation if money and time were no object?
It would have to be either a working holiday or study holiday. It’s not because of the money, but it’s about keeping myself busy. Like in this trip, I actually cleared out all items on my plan on my second day. This is a 4-day trip. I’m actually at a loss of what to do now as I’ve visited and done everything (and more) of what I had planned to do. I’m really hardcore when I’m traveling. I hiked through the mountains from one village to another one yesterday when I had nothing to do. I’m lucky this is an alone trip, if I were with friends I guess we wouldn’t be friends anymore hahaha..
Anyway, if I’m on a working holiday then I can feel accomplished by busting butt working and then traveling would be a fun thing (as opposed to just traveling and going all in in the travel department). I’m weird. I know.
