Saturday, 16 June 2018 22:061. Do you think you have a health lifestyle?
As a matter of fact, I think I’m pretty much on the healthy side of the scale. I don’t drink (only the odd glass of wine or champagne or beer when celebrating something), I don’t smoke, I exercise daily (dog walks), I walk almost everywhere, I run every second day and when I don’t run I go on the bike. I do weekly Yoga and Pilates. When I order food I make sure I order something with greens. So I think I’m pretty healthy.
2. What could you do to improve it?
I’d really like to do more yoga and/or Pilates sessions, and maybe use the gym more, but my daily schedule can’t fit all that in.
3. Are you tempted to eat every time you are hungry or do you wait for the next meal?
I wait for the next meal. It’s just weird for me. Say if I feel hungry at 11.30am, I won’t eat anything. In my mind, lunch starts at 12.30pm... so I’ll wait till it’s 12.30pm to eat.
4. When are you most tempted to snack?
When I’m stressed or I’ve got a huge project that I foresee I need to concentrate on, then I feel like snacking.
5. Do you agree with the saying: "Eat your breakfast, share your lunch with a friend and give your dinner to your enemy" or do you think it matters?
Not exactly in those words, but I do make an effort to NOT skip breakfast, and don’t care if I skipped dinner. Lunch is a free-form affair and I consider lunch the best time to meet with friends.
