1. Do you have Spring or Fall allergies?
Not that I know of. I'm prone to early morning snifles though, and all my life my mom says "it's allergies!"
2. Do you have something in particular that you are allergic to or is it just general?
I'm not allergic to anything specific. However, pre-Covid times, I was rather prone to URTI, and whenever I visited the doctor for that, they usually do give an antihistamine, so I suppose on some level it's an allergy or over-sensitivity from something?
3. What do you take, if anything, to help?
I usually take whatever the doctor prescribes but usually it's really just like, the medicine don't help, and I just wait until it goes away. I suppose. Quoting Voltaire (lol I sound so sophisticated) "The art of medicine consists in amusing the patient while nature cures the disease."
4. Do you seem to be saying, “It’s just allergies” a lot more than usual these days (i.e. because of Covid)?
Coincidentally, I haven't had one incident of URTI nor sore throat nor anything since Covid. I suppose wearing a face mask does help.
5. What do you hope to get out and do this spring, allergies and pandemic willing?
erm.... nothing in particular?
And questions from F.riday5.com
1. They say you can’t teach an old dog new tricks. How have you proven them right or wrong?
Literally it's wrong. An old dog CAN learn new tricks. It's just whether you taught them to do it, they learned it themselves, or they trained YOU to notice it... LOL
Figuratively, it'll take long, but I know they can. You have to see how my Dad goes on Facebook and finds an FB group for his hometown and such. And my Mom playing all those mobile games.
2. They say you can lead a horse to water, but you can’t make him or her drink. How has this proven true or false in your life?
Yeah, the family keeps "helping me" and this and that, like, my aunt would inadvertedly say something like "I've talked to so-and-so and they have a position for you. Just send them a note!"
I never sent anyone a note LOL.
3. They say absence makes the heart grow fonder. How have they been proven right or wrong in your life?
I can't say about "true love" and all that, but I think anything and everything would sort of taper off eventually. Say, if I go on holiday, and I miss the dogs and the family, it eventually tapers off. However, when you are staying with them 24/7 as well, sometimes you just also sort of want to be away for a bit because it's just too much.
4. They say looks can be deceiving. How have you proven them right or wrong?
The simplest story is, people tend to think I don't speak Chinese and so if they want to bad-talk or complain about something, they'd say it in Chinese, thinking I don't understand?
Well.......................................
I do, and I know every single thing you've said, losers.
5. They say opposites attract. How have you proven them right or wrong?
I don't think so. I can't prove it either, but I doubt total opposites can really function together for long periods of time. You have to have some common ground in order to be willing to spend time together, right?
