Weekend again
Saturday, 23 April 2022 10:03It's just a regular weekend, not a long one, but, I hear there's an arts & craft flea market or fair kind of thing going on, so I will go look this afternoon, if I am able to complete what I have to get done today, that is.
Just a view as I get out of my workplace. That golden-ish not-finished building thing in the far end? I hear it's gonna be the Gallerie Lafayette thing, though, I really doubt coming into this market now is any good. We'll see.
Dad is in hospital again, and I'm sick and tired of being here. I'm not complaining that it's an inconvenience, but his immune system seems to be just spiraling downwards. Our aggressive cat, Kitty (yes, we are very creative when naming our pets LOL) scratched him around 4 days ago, he cleaned the wound and bandaged it, but a day later it got all swollen and he couldn't move his thumb, so he went to the hospital.... and got admitted. He had an infection going on, so they are trying to flush that all out. He did call this morning saying they are going to release him today, so now I'm just waiting for his call to go pick him up.
It's flowering! But i should also trim out those yellowed leaves.
Next bout of fun is this pottery throwing workshop. My Sis had always wanted to try out pottery throwing, but she is also such an introvert and scaredy cat when it comes to talking to people (hey, I admit I am too)... so when she found this workshop she really wanted to go and asked me if I'm interested. Pottery is not my passion (yet), but I would always be open to try learning new things, so I'll be going. Maybe I'll like it so much that I'd go on and continue. But I'm just thinking... later, when I have more "creations", where am I going to put/place/store them? I dunno. First order of business though, make something for my bestie, who seems making these interesting pottery things for me.
