Oops MIA’ed
Thursday, 12 September 2024 12:21Oopsie! Sorry I've MIA'ed again. I really had planned out to write about my other 2 days in Singapore but now that the time has gone, I'm feeling lazy again. Long story short, I didn't get to do much on my own as there was some really silly thing going on with my work colleagues, so I had to get to the office again on my last day (supposed free day). Made friends with the building security guard, he taught me to go the other way, and I got to eat at another cheaper food center. Got to the airport, apparently there's a Pokémon Store in Changi Jewel, so that's where I went. Flight back home.
You know, even I did that before, but the people of Macau usually diss Air Macau, saying this and that about it. But I must say, the last few times I've been on Air Macau, I do not dislike that. I actually think Air Macau is better than Cathay in some aspects. And I'm surprised that I can admit to that.
A bit of my regular life updates:
So my Orange Car is now a Charmander car LOL. It's a color match. Didn't want to go overboard so just a couple of small stickers and a larger face in the back.
My Hobonichi order arrived! Quite happy with my usage of my Weeks this year, so I decided to continue with a Weeks next year. Chose a sushi design, and the sushi placements are quite good.
There's a new newfangled dog park thingamajig in Barra area. Honestly, it's not a dog park (no pee no poop allowed) but they put some obstacle course things around for dogs to play. It's actually in a some-what remote place, no car park around, so even when Frankie and I walked there, by the time we've arrived, he's just tired.
The other day I was looking for parking and after I parked, I noticed the next car was also a Pokémon car LOL.
So the other day I probably almost died. I was driving along the road, and was going into a roundabout. So I just followed the white continuous line and kept to my designated lane. But apparently, there was a huge construction truck (maybe it was a cement truck) wanted to cross lanes. He honked at me but me in my tiny car just death-stared up at the driver in the high truck LOL. I could die, but hey, I would die knowing I was in the CORRECT LANE. He was trying to cross over a white continuous line.
We got a new food court in my workplace and I tried there for the first time today, and honestly, the dish I got, I thought it was pretty good. So I'd probably go again. But today I need to go to another place for lunch.
I've also got my non-Chinese National Multi-travel-to-China card! I'm going to make my maiden trip on that card tomorrow so that I can register the fingerprints first, then next week my friends are already planning to make a trip. It's gonna be fun times ahead!
