What was I going to write about?
Friday, 20 June 2025 11:48Kind of a memory-loss or simply just absent-mindedness. Or it's age. I don't know. I HAD something I wanted to write about earlier 2 nights ago, but the days were long and by the time I could sit down and do my own thing I just conked off.
Dad's getting progressively better now. They are letting him walk further and further (within the ward). Supposedly, there's going to be a final CT scan but the doctor never said when, but Dad was all like "it's gonna be next week!" Some of his old colleagues from the 1970s came by yesterday and how did he perk up. Good. If he has someone to entertain him then I'll just get on back to work.
Tomorrow I'm going to take a break from my ceramics workshop, and go for an early morning Yoga thing. It's International Yoga Day tomorrow so there's so many events and stuff. The previous Sunday I went to a similar event but it all felt so poorly planned, but hey, I got a free yoga mat. We were told to bring a mat tomorrow but now it seems mats will be provided.
After that, my friend J wanted to take a workshop for jade or something. So I'm going with her, just to hear out about jades. I did read somewhere that there's essentially no "fake" jade. The only thing is some people add color polish to make a piece of jade look more vibrant and the color fades over time.
Oh I remember now! The mechanic says he's got the parts prepared so he can pick up my car on Sunday. It's been a weird few days driving that flat back car LOL. I noticed no other car would come near my back (maybe afraid I'd say they are the ones who crashed into me?) Also it feels like there's Harley Davison bike perpetually behind me because the back bumper got pushed into the exhaust so it's super noisy, but only to me, because the noise gets transmitted through the frame of the car i suppose. He mentioned in passing he's going to switch with me his Mini Cooper. Huh. Prestigious car in these parts. European car. Added stress LOL. And the freaking swap of window swiper and indicator lights lever.
Then my other car (my baby) needs to go for inspection at the end of the month, mechanic has that sorted out too. We are eternally grateful for this mechanic, really!
