Day 8 - Fav. animated Character
I'm really getting rusty. This is Lina Inverse, from Hajime Kanzaka's Slayers. Since he has worked with many different artists, my favourite rendition of the characters are that from Rui Araizumi's. This is just an anime that caught my eye and then I liked it ever since. Lina is witty, sassy and generally really cool. I also like the design and care-free and all-can-do attitude of Naga the Serpent, but her mental age is a bit lacking (ha!).
Favourite season/arc is the very very first one.
Day 9 - Fav. TV Show
Very frankly, I don't have one. I'd say either Criminal Minds, The Mentalist, The Inside, etc... but.... If I see it showing on the TV I'll watch, if I missed it, no big deal... so.... I dunno...
Day 10 - Fav. Candy
Candies are not my cup of tea :D
Day 11 - Turning point in your life
From my nursery/kindergarten years up till... I think it's Primary 3 (Grade 3), I was a slow-poke, "are you a bit slow in the head?" type of kid. Not much expression and reaction. You talk to me, I mumble an answer. Even my report cards show that I was somewhere below average to average. I had some friends, but I'm not the outgoing type.
Come Primary 4 (Grade 4), I was a changed person. In our school, Primary 4's get their very first library cards. Yup, we were not allowed into the library until we reached Primary 4. I got my library card, and you can only find my in there ever since. Recess, lunch breaks, after school. Any free time you see, I'm there in the library with Mr. Donald (Our then Librarian... I heard he passed away.... RIP). It was a really small library, but in my eyes, it held a ton of books.
Since then, as I was reading so much (and still not studying for school), my marks improved tremendously. I went from below-average to top 5 students in class. I guess it's because it's helped to develop my English that saw this jump in academic achievement in me, but we'll never know now... :D
