Friday Five

Okay.... I know the following is last week’s Friday Five prompts, but I’ve got time now, today's questions haven’t been posted yet, and I didn’t answer these yet, so!

1. Are we losing the art of listening?
Interestingly I just watched a Facebook video clip of a comedian saying “the Japanese are generally very good listeners, probably because in their sentence structure the verb comes last, so you HAVE TO listen to the whole thing”.

Yeah people seem to assume to know what you are on about and then lose interest.

2. Have you ever interacted with the police?
Yeah. For my ex-ex-boss, I had to deal with the immigration police about his wife’s visa to stay back then, with my ex-boss it was to help him deal with his car fines. So far for this boss no issues with the police.

3. Do you like being alone?
It depends on my mood but I’m usually pretty comfortable being alone.

4. Who would you share your passwords with?
Well, no one really. But I tell a few colleagues that if they really need something when I’m away, they can always find some hints around.

5. What are you grateful for today?
Managed to get a pile of signings done! But on Monday I’m gonna cry because of the follow up work!

You tossed me for a loop today because I was just posting this week's Friday Five and thought I'd gotten my day off. :P I never thought about that with the Japanese, but you are right. They are, by far, excellent listener.
