No green thumb

I've said it before that I have no green thumb... I still maintain that!
My terrarium sphere had a pinkish succulent that... died (I think I over-watered it) and since then there has been that empty space. I always wanted to have a green-pumpkin lookalike succulent and decided to get one to fill up that spot, but alas, I can't measure anything by my naked eye and and I also did not think about roots... so pseudo-pumpkin was too big to go into the terrarium.
On the other hand, my nerve plant has been scaring me. Parts of it are getting white, I suspect those are dying, but the green ones are sprouting like crazy. I guess I have to re-pot it soon, but then I'll have nothing for the Little Prince pot. And I don't want to get yet another plant...
But! I learn something new everyday! So I was walking past one of the new trendy plant-stores in town and saw these pumpkin lookalike plants! Solanum Pumpkins as it says on the tag, but after a bit of searching it's also called "Pumpkin on a Stick", "Pumpkin Tree", "Pepper Pumpkin", or for those partial to the Latin name, Solanum integrifolium. Fruits between September through November, so I chose one that still had a green fruit and a flower (in hopes to see it turn into fruit).
It's more a tomato or eggplant than a pumpkin, but very nice for decorative purposes. I just need to remember not to put it in the air con room as they prefer a warmer environment.
