The New(ish) Patane Library

So after my haircut in the morning, and then went for a quick pre-lunch lunch, because my manicure booking was at 1pm (salons were closed for 2 weeks due to the COVID scare for a bit, and now that everything's opened, everything is full), I wasn't exactly sure of the timing of busses and all that. I found myself with half an hour to spare when the bus was half-way to my manicure place area. I decided to hop off the bus 2 stops early, and went to see the new(ish) Patane Library.
They refurbished a row of old buildings and it looks pretty chic. In terms of library and books, I do not consider this a real library because there wasn't that very many books. There were just around 8 or so shelves of books, and only 1 shelf for English books. I'm not surprised as that area doesn't have much foreigners living in, and isn't a tourist area either.
They hung up signs of the sorting numbers or category numbers, and everything in English is cramped into the 1 shelf LOL.
But what's really cool about this library is they've kept parts of the original old building and left it as-is, giving it a grungy and cool look.
Aaaaaand, the stuff that I like are the old windows and pipes and trimmings... they made a feature wall of that!
And the rest under the cut will be the remaining photos that... I have no commentary about LOL LOL LOL sorry!
I only saw the Children's Area had this nifty sign, but I didn't find signs for the other areas.
Hope you enjoyed!
