LJ had a nifty function of sharing your community posts to your personal LJ, the post comes up to your feed but comments will go to the actual comm post.

Oh that's neat! There's a couple of LJ features I wish dw had, adding that one to the list.

And I feel ya on layouts. Wish I had the brain and energy to dig into CSS, but I know better.
