Hello again! This is Kat, presenting my... boring work day LOL
As usual, I woke up around 6.30am-ish.
The first thing I do is look towards my dog Sai Lup. Poor thing wasn't well over the weekend; we thought it's just his leg acting up, but when, because he couldn't stand and couldn' walk, he refused to pee in his bed, even with the diaper sheet... guess we trained him too well.... we were worried, and took him to the vet yesterday. Apparently he has a slipped disc somewhere in his spine. Looked ok this morning.
So I continue with my morning things. I shower at night, but never wash my hair at night, so, the morning things include hair washing, then face creams and make up and all that.
I try to persuade Sai Lup to go pee in the varandah, but no dice. He remains a gentleman. In terms of not peeing. But when we try to support him he snaps at us.
Meanwhile, the other puppies need to go out, so out they went to the dog park. It was all rainy and dreary last week, so it was nice to see blue skies today.
I check out the day's schedule and decide what to wear.
I couldn't decide 2 pairs of shoes, but in the end, practicality won. My schedule showed that I had a lot of walking to do today... so I chose a pair of flats.
Today was also a Fluorite and Tourmaline kind of day. Also tagged an Aurelite 23.
I usually have a type of cereal for breakfast, but last weekend I bought a Seville Orange & Ginger marmalade or jam from M&S, it was pretty nice. Then Dad also opened a pack of Serrano Jamon, so I had a savory and a sweet toast. The milk is an unsweetened oat milk, and the tiny pill is a vitamin D supplement.
Just before I left for work, I see Sai Lup did not manage to eat his toast, because the plate "ran away" from him, LOL. I had to hand feed him the toast. He was happy.
And off I go to work!
I usually take the lakeside route, but today was a nice sunny day, meaning... it could get deathly sunny, so, I went the inside street route.
In office - get my morning cup of tea ready!
And start working on stuff..... that I can't show LOL
Don't know why felt like carbing up today, so I had a sizzling plate fried noodles. Also finally in the mood to tuck some reading in too!
Then I trek on to the next office for my afternoon meeting.
Totally forgot to shoot the view from that office. Anyway. Meeting finished around 17.30... I decided to just go ahead home because I had to take Sai Lup to the vet for his laser treatment. Oh the below photo, people always show the Grand Lisboa (because of the strange shape) but, really right next to it is another tall giant, the Bank of China headquarters.
How did he escape from his diaper sheet and bed?
Sai Lup had his laser treatment, then he seemed to walk a little better, he managed to keep standing and finally he peed and he shit! Sorry for those who have delicate ears/eyes, but yeah. Shit is common topic in our household. It's a health indicator for our dogs. We like to look at and discuss about our dogs' shit. Sorry.
One the way home, I order dinner for the family using a delivery service... similar to door dash, I guess. Then I decide to start working on the meeting minutes. My assistant had to go to some training today so she didn't attend the meeting. I'm not even mad, because writing the minutes myself is waaaaayyyy easier than checking and correcting hers.
It's not simply her command of English. I can forgive that. But, it's her shitty formatting as well. Space to push the text to the right??? To the center??? You can align right and align center! You did it on the other lines.... why didn't you do it on that particular line??? I don't get it. But, this is the situation that I'd sing Let it go, LOL
Dinner arrived surprisingly early, so I had to pause my minutes writing.
I decided I deserved ice cream, so I got a cup of vanilla ice cream and drizzled it with pumpkin seed oil!
But... distractions. First, the dog and the cat. Then a colleague called me for agossip session strategy and analytics session. The phonecall lasted an hour.
By then it was close to midnight. I decided to f*ck it and go shower, and put on a mask. I had reached almost to the end of the minutes, and I had to refer back to a file that I did not send back to myself, so I had to refer it at work anyway. I'm still within my self-imposed minutes to distributed within 24 hours of the meeting, so I'm cool.
