1. What is your favorite vegetable?
I really like okra and wouldn't mind eating them every day.
Depending how you cook it, eggplant is also on the top of my favourite list. A chinese style 5-spices deep fried eggplant is wonderful!
2. What is your favorite fruit?
Apples!
3. What is your favorite cheese?
It's either a Brie or a Camembert. Mozarella a close second/third. But I've also recently grown to like the... I forgot the name of it. I only remember it's Spanish hard cheese. Gorgonzola? And maybe I've only ever had "tame" blue cheese/stilton varieties so I don't know how stinky they can get, but the blue cheese and stilton varieties I've had so far are pretty good too!
4. What is your favorite dessert?
Well... It really depends on the menu and cuisine! But a random dessert item I'd say is... it's not really a dessert item, I just consider it a dessert item. A shot of espresso and vanilla ice cream. Essentially it's an Affogato. The ice cream makes it dessert.
5. What is your favorite beverage?
Water is always my go-to drink. If I'm in a fancy restaurant then it's sparkling water. (Sparkling water costs an arm and a leg in this part of the world, so if I'm going to pay for the drink, I might as well go all out). I usually skip the coffee/tea course but if I'm forced to order then it's Earl Grey. And if I'm forced to choose a beverage for the sake of answering this then it's (in Europe) Iced Tea, Peach Flavor. Most of the places I've been to in Europe tap water is drinkable, so in restaurants we feel obligated to order something other than water (because it's always tap water served, and tap water is free), so Iced Tea Peach is our go-to drink.

1. What was the most recent physical book you purchased and/or read?
oh boy, physical books? I haven't read on in ages. I've been reading on my Kindle for so long now...
According to my books tag, the last DTB I read should be The Last Jew. I was downsizing my shelf and wanted to put this book away so finished it so it's now... kept somewhere I don't even know where.
2. What was the last compact disc you listened to?
This one's easy, because my car is an old car and only has a CD player. I have KOKIA's Tokyo Mermaid in there, so if I switch to the CD player then it's just that CD playing.
3. What did you last watch on DVD?
If memory serves, it was a few years ago... I bought some
4. Whom did you last speak to on a landline?
I don't ever use the landline anymore. In fact, I get annoyed when the landline rings because it's so loud. And it's ever only for Mom. And in my mind I'm always screaming (when that rings) "Just call the person you want on the mobile!" I guess I'm annoyed because the landline "telephone line outlet" is in my room, and so the "main" device is in my room so the ringing is the loudest. There are other wireless phones in the other rooms. But since the "main" device usually rings 2 second earlier than the others, so basically I'm always the one answering the phone. Technically, I don't remember who I "spoke to" on the landline, but whoever they were, they were all calls for my Mom.
5. What did you last purchase with cash?
ooomph. This is tough. I guess... I topped up my Starbucks card with cash a couple weeks ago, because their shoddy app was in the midst of an upgrade so now they don't take Macau credit cards (Macau money to Hong Kong money conversion) in the app, and I was forced to go to the barista to top up at the counter. But electronic wallet is so convenient. I don't have to count for the exact change, and I don't have to walk around with coins now. oh right, I tip with cash too. Would that be considered as "purchasing a service with cash"?
