elusivekSooooo, I got off work after lunch and will "resume" opening on Thursday. Had to get off work early today because my dog Max has diarrhea for the second day in a row. We usually let it run its course when we first see diarrhea and if after a full 24 hours the dog is still on it then we are properly worried. And now it's 48 hours of that too!
Blood test and all and nothing too bad. He has some borderline things, has some things on the low side, but nothing life threatening. Considerably a beautiful blood test result for a 14 year old dog. So, it's the food. Wonder what he ate to give him his bad tummy.
I was trying to finish reading my current book over lunch today but.... I just can't.... this book I'm reading, I just can't get into it. I'm trying not to give it up because I don't want to start the year with a "given up book" so I'm trying to finish it. I chose this book simply because I saw on one of my Goodreads groups that this was their book for January... but... I really can't get immersed in it. I've managed to go over 50% of it, so I will try to finish it. I have the next 5 days off. I should be able to find some time to read it. (I'm also trying to to hook my kindle online because this is a library book that has already been "returned" but because I've kept my kindle offline, I can still read it)
There's also this new (for a while) game on my phone that I've been playing for over a month. Octopath Traveller. I played on the Switch before, so now that it's on the iOS I've migrated... but essentially it's 2 different games... but I managed to gacha draw my favorite character H'aanti, yay!
After dinner and dog walk today, I plan to go have a dander at the "Flower market." These flower markets are only up the week before Chinese New Year and will finish at midnight tomorrow. Usually they sell orchids and those red papers (talismans? Banners?) I don't plan to buy any more flowers (my orchid is sprouting a stem that would flower!) but I wanted to see if there's any new colors out there.
