Writer's Block: Dear LiveJournal

I see on my profile that this LJ was created in late 2003, but the archives only show a link up till 2004. LJ was something I wanted to start a long time ago, but I never had an invite, and I never knew anyone with an invite, so I never got one. I think I got into LJ when they finished with the referral-only thing. Anyway, my foray into LJ was more for Fanfiction and I didn't really use it that much. Ah, those bring back memories :P
I actually started blogging with Diaryland, and then jumped ship various times. I'm sure though, when I first started LJ, I was in my Xanga phase. I practically wrote solely on my Xanga. And then Xanga started to bore me (no idea why) and then I jumped ship (again) to Wordpress. I still keep Wordpress as my "public" blog but I'm seeing that I'm slowly migrating full-time to here, LJ. I was checking out my old posts, and I found out that my very first 2 posts on LJ were about, the death of my Opa and the death of my Aunt-and-Godmother.
Thinking of it this way, my LJ really seems pretty blue... nah, but I'm sure I'm seeing much, much happier times :D
I then started to use LJ more diligently in end of 2007. It was still sporadic, but i had a presence... the real LJ mania started 2009 until now... I'm starting to run out of steam though, so my posts have been less frequent lately, but that's not because I'm writing elsewhere... it's more because I have no time to write.
This LJ saw me through many deaths. This LJ saw me rejoice in my victories and throw tantrums (haha) in my failures. But unlike for some people on my f-list, LJ was not my teenage outlet. Which is sad, I think.... I believe my teenage years were more exciting than my tweens.
