Been so busy, not for anything but eating out. It almost seemed like I'm leading a different life lately.

On Saturday, as I've already posted out of my excitedness, I went to this very nice restaurant called the Albergue 1601. I did a bit of research after my lunch there and learnt that the location the restaurant is located in was an old people's home or an old people's asylum built by the " Holy House of Mercy" (Santa Casa de Misericórdia, a charity organization) back in... I don't remember when. That place is now an artsy place where lots of artistic activities take place. It's really pretty!

The food was good too! At a very economical price. The price depends on the main course that you choose, but the lunch set will already include a salad (choose from 2), a soup, dessert and a drink. Free flow of water throughout your meal. I had a fish fillet that was really exquisite! And I loved the pumpkin soup.

I'll admit that the food is not the best in town, but the whole presentation, atmosphere, surroundings, menu selection, food quality and price makes this place my new favorite place in town.

I'm itching to go there once for dinner. The lady let me have a look at their dinner menu and it looked quite tempting as well!

And then it was dinner at the Terrazza again. My mom wanted to invite her friend so we went there for dinner. I used to like it a lot the first 2 times I was there, but this time I didn't quite like it anymore. The food was still good, but they changed the menu. It's now so hard to read the menu... I made sure I wrote that in the comment card!

And then (still more!?) last night, I went with my colleagues to a place called Spice Garden. It's an Indian place. Indian = Curry = generally spicy and I'm the kind of person that can't eat spicy food. Still, I found it to be really good. Still spicy but it was good! And because my boss gave us a complimentary letter (like a cash voucher of up to a certain amount), we only paid a few dollars for the dinner.

The whole restaurant setting was really beautiful too!

And I'm just on my way to a new-ish Japanese place to have lunch with my friends! Woot!!
