Pretty busy weekend
Monday, 27 August 2012 00:20I had a pretty busy weekend this week. So much stuff to do... I don't even know where to start... and I have this headache now... bah!
Anyway, on Saturday, it was my parents' wedding anniversary... 34 years married! I treated the family to Kira, a Japanese restaurant that serve a dinner buffet. Last year I went with my office people there and it was heaps good, but this time round it wasn't as good.
And it costed a pretty penny too. Luckily, my Dad is so famous (not really, haha), that one of the chefs there recognized him, and signed the bill for us, so we got a whopping 30% staff discount!
But I have to say, in terms of service, Wynn's Il Teatro takes the cake. And talking about cheesecake, Grand Lapa's (Ex-Mandarin Oriental Macau) cheesecakes are phenomenal.
I was pretty stuffed and had to get into bed a little later than normal because I ate too much... like always... need to keep away from buffets!
( The greatest Chinese product, a Working Dog in action, some shopping, manicure, Possibly Yucky Food… haha... )
And that is how my weekend went... The boss is out again, and the supervisor is in Taiwan. I'm again totally alone in the office for the next few days, so maybe I could get a bit of reading done. The friends are getting the Bangkok trip sorted out too.
Oh, and my Japanese classes start tomorrow. I hope I won't die of boredom... I think if it gets too boring I'll just quit and enroll elsewhere...
