Why it started
Saturday, 2 July 2016 00:05Right... so the Runkeeper and the food log app tells me I've been diligent and have been keeping track of workouts and food for one month. Yay! And well, I'm also happy to say that I accomplished the initial reason to start keeping track of food and caring more about exercising.
I'm still pudgy so don't laugh!

It was because of this particular one-piece dress. I bought this in Singapore the last time I was there (don't remember when. 2009 maybe?) Anyway, it's obviously a summer piece so all through winter I didn't take it out. Last month, I wanted to wear that for work and It. Didn't. Fit. It bloody didn't zip up!!!!!! And that's my initial reason to start all this foodlog, exercise log, no eating after a certain time etc... regimens.
Yesterday I put that on, it's still a tiny bit of a tight fit, but it zipped up. (Initial) Mission accomplished. Now, to bring my weight down to 61-63 kg. (When the dress didn't fit I was like at 73kg and it gave me a heart attack. I'm now at 70kg! Keep working hard! Reach 63!
Now I continue to run because it feels good breaking out a good sweat and I think I'm actually overall feeling happier - and even my knees and ankles don't seem to give me as much trouble now. It's got to do with the release of certain hormones, I read one time.
Oh yeah and tomorrow I intend to make a trip to Hong Kong. I'm going to see the Monet exhibition in some far-off place in Kowloon/New Territories side so hopefully it's gonna be fun (I've never been there before).
My eye was ok after the 7-day eye cream prescription but 1 day after I stopped, the itch came back with a vengence. The eye doctors are closed for the weekend so I got myself baby shampoo to rub over the affected area. Geez, it's baby no-tears shampoo and while yes, I can open my eyes and feel no pain, where I have that blepharitis thing It. Burns. It. BURNS!!!!!!! But I also feel masochistic and think that if it burns, it means it's killing whatever germs or fungus so it should be good. I must be crazy.
