Friday Five 20-January

Backdate post...

1. How do you like your coffee?
1 packet white sugar and a bit of creamer

2. How do you like your tea?
Straight for most teas. With milk and sugar if ceylon black tea.

3. What's your favorite late night beverage?
Baileys on the rock - but I inulge like, only once every 3 years or so.

4. If you could only drink one thing for the next week, what would it be?
Water. I'm actually not a fizzy drink or flavored liquid fan.

5. If you were on vacation, what would be the first thing you'd drink to celebrate?
Usually something local. Say, in Austria I go for the Almdudler. some 15 years ago, whenever I went to Europe it definitely was the Peach Eistee, but now the peach eistee is available here as well. Japan baiscally any of those crazy calpis drinks. China a special local milk drink in a bag thing (I'm still alive, so that was ok).

Catching up

OK... with a couple of backdate posts, just the wordless wednesdays and friday fives... and a bit of catch up here now.

So, January.... it was my birthday...

There was no big party or what. Just a small lunch with the family, then I bullied my boss to buy me lunch on my birthday, at our property's expensive restaurant (hah!), then a bit of cake at home. I liked it that way.

Then there was the company's January birthday party, which I went but didn't take any photos on my phone. I'm just waiting for the photographer to send me back the only 2 I took.

As seen in one of my Wordless Wednesday posts, I'm trying to race against time to finish up the Slytherin scarf I had been knitting some 10 years or so ago. I hope to be able to finish that tonight. I heard tomorrow it'll be cold. And that's like after the cold tomorrow, it'll just get warm again for the season. Bleh. No fun at all.

I still haven't gotten my ass to actually read an actual book. Sometimes Fanfiction just sucks out all my reading time. Hah.

I've been either depressed or rebellious, don't know which. I've for no reason at all skipped 3 classes of the hobby class I'm taking. I shouldn't anymore, I just paid for a new term. But work has been so crazy busy I just wanted to rebel for a bit.

Another new vice-president lady came in, and of course I told the boss again, "I'm not going to be her admin," but of course I kind of think I'm already being considered as one. I can't be working 5-people's jobs. I'm spread too thin.

It's tiring....

My colleagues have very kindly taken me out for a bit.

I don't really like to play pool. Or snooker. Or billards? Or whatever. I had enough fun watching though, so I had a grand time. Then we went to the newly opened Duffy's...

I really don't know what they want to do with a handle-less door with a pull sign. Must be some trick for the drunk people.
