Friday five 30-June

1) What's the weather like where you are today?
Typical end-of-June: Hot, cloudy, sunny with showers, meaning sunny AND showers at the same time, not sunny at times and showers at times.

Mom likes to say it's the "Monkey's Birthday" when it's Sun and Showers at the same time. I learnt from my Japanese teacher back then that in Japanese they say it's the "Fox's Wedding".

2) How does this type of weather make you feel?
Slightly annoying. I wanted to break in my new running shoes today, but since it's raining.... nah!

3) What's your favourite time of year (thinking about the weather)?
Autumn! Autumn!

4) Is there any weather that just makes you want to hide away indoors?
Well, if it's hot hot burning hot or cold cold freezing cold. I like cool weather but not cold.

5) If you were moving somewhere purely for the climate, where would it be - what's your perfect year-round weather scenario?
Autumn - cold enough to have falling leaves, and maybe a cardigan, but never cold enough to bring out the heavy overcoats? That would be perfect.
