Friday Five 22-September
Saturday, 23 September 2017 17:26Today's questions are a bit difficult... because I tend to forget things... even if they were life-changing happy/sad/angry.... I can only answer whatever pops up in my mind.
1. What's the happiest thing to ever happen to you?
*thinking* *thinking* *thinking*
My friends actually prepared a surprised "party" for my birthday. That day, I had only planned to have tea with my friends. A friend said she was busy at work and that she would join us later. Another friend entertained me, and then somehow she duped me to go to the other friend's home. So up we went and then my friend brought out a cake. It was an Agnes b. Sport Dino cake. I had previously said I was curious about that cake. Thing is, we couldn't get that cake in Macau, so my friend didn't have to work that day, she took a ferry ride to Hong Kong just to get the cake and came back to celebrate.
2. What's the saddest thing to ever happen to you?
Any one of my dogs passing. There's been like, 5 that I distinctly remember, so 5 saddest things ever have happened already.
3. What's the thing that got you the most angry in your life?
I know i've been angry at that moment, but usually it passes and then I'm all gung-ho about it. I can't really think of anything.... I guess last year when I was in Berlin and we were looking for our train car and seat and this gypsy guy comes taking our bags and "helping" us carry our bags but no matter how we said no thanks and all that and he still persisted and well, it didn't end pretty. I yelled him off and then we think he stole something from other passengers.
4. What's the most frightening thing to ever happen to you?
It was actually a dream that i had. My apartment was on fire so I ran down the fire escape stairs, running down 5 floors, and the signage said Ground Floor, but when I pushed open the door I was back on the 5th floor. I ran a few times and that continued to happen, so then went back into the apartment and went to the back varandah. It should be a view of the inner harbor there, but in the dream it was a mountain, and my parents and my sister were hiking up the mountain and just greeting me hello (WTF?)
5. What's the most unbelievable thing to happen to you in your life?
Again, nothing comes up as particularly striking. Though my boss did leave me flabbergasted by asking me "is M in today?" 2 hours after I reported to him that she was not.
