Winter is coming...

I haven't watched a single episode of Game of Thrones yet. I remember seeing the books in the library before the series, but figured they were so long, then I procrastinated, and the series came out LOL. And it's over as well right? I watched the trailers though, so I know about "Winter is coming..."

And winter is indeed coming! Temperatures are finally in the 15s or so Celsius (60 or so Fahrenheit?) It's nice getting those mid-length coats out and I love fleece stuff because they are so soft and huggable. I can finally bring out this fleece tortilla wrap blanket my friend got me last year!

Photo is from Amazon, and my blanket is a lot less yellow. It's more... beige or pink. Anyway. You get the idea.

One of the flower shops in town (the one that sells import stuff from Japan) is now accepting orders for a moss ball Sakura tree... I'm tempted, but to my understanding, these moss ball plants dry up really easily so they need quite a bit of care.

But I think it's so pretty... but it's Sakura, so it will die soon, or at least, the pretty-ness of it will die soon. I'm still thinking.

I went to the eye doctor and she prescribed me an ointment to put on my eyelid 4 times a day. I asked if I needed new prescription for my glasses, but she said my short-sightedness only increased by 20 points on the left eye, so there's no need for new prescription. I had to remind the doctor, my wearing glasses is not because of my short-sightedness, it's because of my astigmatism. But anyway, technically, I can still see fairly well without glasses, but I prefer to wear glasses, because without glasses, I will need to put more effort in concentrating what I'm seeing, then then I get tired sooner in the day. Let's hope my blepharitis clears out soon!

oh and about that handbag I posted before, here's a comparison of the Aquarius one (and bought in an online store in Hong Kong), versus Capricorn (China Taobao version)

There's a slight discoloration in the Capricorn one (bottom) and the sky is more evenly distributed for Aquarius (top). I can see a slightly better craftsmanship on the top one as well, the threads are all separated. Despite that, I think the quality is still good enough to be given as a gift. But I must say, this is a super tiny bag. I guess I can't even call it a bag. It's a purse. I had to downsize ALOT today when I wanted to use it. Tomorrow I'll use it again.

Oh my eyes are drooping and I'm starting to type nonsense (I had to backspace and edit a few times) I'll go around replying tomorrow! See ya!

So.... I swear this time it’s 100% not my fault!

I was walking down to the market with Mom, bickering about what to get for lunch, when this little kitty jumped out and ran by us.

Mom was all OH POOR THING! And I was like an actual adult (or, mom), saying leave it, don’t look at it, you will feel sorry for it, don’t bother.

Oh how the roles have changed. I remember the days when I would be nagging to take a stray home and the parents saying that exactly.

Then a motorbike drove by and almost hit the kitten. Oh how my Mom wailed. I gave her a last warning. “If I pick it up I will not put it down!” And she said, “pick it up then!”

So.... oops?

More on the new Cat

Still un-named, but now we know it's a she! So I can't call her Michael (wanted to call her Michael at first because she looks like Michael from What's Michael?)

If I accidentally flashed myself, I'm sorry, LOL. I had tights on so there isn't really much to see LOL LOL LOL
