1. What was a skill you were proud to learn as a kid?
As a kid? I used to take skating classes, and I got pretty good at it. I could go forwards, backwards, spin, and all that. I don't remember why it tapered off, but it just did.

2. What's something you used to be good at, but can't do any more?
I used to draw a lot as a kid. I don't do much drawing nowadays.

3. What's something you haven't done in a long time, but you could pick it right back up again with some practice?
I suppose I could still play the piano. I suck at sight reading, but I had that one-piece-wonder I could play to fool people that I do know how to play the piano LOL. Yes, there is just ONE piece I could play properly.

4. What can you teach others to do?
I could probably teach you how to type Chinese in the Changjie input method.

5. What would you like to learn next?
My friend seems to be having a lot of fun with her pottery, so I'd be interested in that, given the chance!

1. What recently made you proudest of yourself?
LOL. Just yesterday, my Boss was giving me certain instructions to send stuff to me. So I was arranging to get things done. Then I sent a certain file to him. After a while he said "don't forget to send that certain file to me!" And then I just "replied" on that file I sent (WhatsApp has this function) and used a smirking emoji.

He replied with a thank you. Very rare he does that LOL.

2. Whom do you envy?
I know one shouldn't envy others but sometimes you just can't help it, isn't it? I envy some people that have certain skills, but I don't envy the circumstances they are in. So it's just like, I envy this person with this skill, but I wouldn't want to be in his shoes because I know he has to deal with that. Something like that.

3. When did you most recently express wrath?
I believe it was just recently, at certain IT technicians in my company LOL.

4. What do you eat when you are too slothful to prepare something or to get takeout?
I'm tempted to say cup noodles (just pour hot water!) but I've noticed on lazy nights, I would look at the cup noodles, and still want something a little more sophisticated, so I would cook instant noodles. It's still "instant noodles" but needs a little more work. Need to cook it up. Then I would add some extras like crab sticks or poach an egg in the noodles and such.

5. What or whom do you lust for?
Right this moment? Nothing? I guess going on a shopping spree last month made me kind of numb towards material things this month. So I'm not lusting for anything. As for whom.... nah. Nobody worth lusting after. It's funny, In ever really lusted for anyone, real life or fictional. Granted, there are people/characters I like and those I prefer to be in the company of, but, lust? Nah.

WINTER HAS COME!

Granted, it's like 16-19ºC these days, but it's chilly! It's cool! It's fresh! If I'm overseas, I would consider this Autumn. Here in Macau? I consider this winter. Booties! Beige tones! Fluffy scarves! Nice clothes!

I'm not much into fashion, but I think I have a little more stylish looking autumn/winter wear than I do for summer. Summer is usually jeans, a T-shirt, and sneakers. I can dress up a bit in this weather now. Yaaaayy!!!

Something weird is going on with my Nerveplant and I repotted it. Not sure if it's going to survive, but it had fungus in the roots/soil despite it being dry. I rinsed out the roots, sprayed a diluted hydrogen peroxide solution, and changed to a new batch of soil... here's hoping it will revive. I also had to remove the succulents inside a glass ball because they were growing a little too tall. I replaced it with a pumpkin-looking succulent thing, and in repotting the other succulent, some leaves broke off, so I'm going to try to propagate those.

I was also trying to propagate the African violets and finally new leaves are sprouting, that makes me happy!

Next week, the glimpseatmyday comm has the challenge of photo-cataloguing all three meals for 5 days. I'm usually good with lunch, but dinner I'll probably forget. We'll see.

I still don't understand the concept of Elf on a Shelf... but I ordered one. The way I understood it is... the elf works like a CCTV camera and spies on kids to see if they're naughty or nice? And some people actually go through the motions of placing the elf on different places doing different things daily?? I'm planning to do a very boring placing the elf up on the top of a cupboard and peeking down. When the kids come for the Christmas party this year I'll say look up, someone's looking.

Maybe the kids are getting too old for that LOL LOL LOL.

Come to think of it, I should start thinking about Christmas shopping. First I need to think about budgets!
