The importance of planning ahead
Friday, 31 October 2014 09:51So the boss had me do something a couple months back. I had my trepeditions as I did it, and well, let's just say all my worries came true (bleh). So 6 weeks worth of work down the drain.
He asked me to "make a softcopy" of a PDF printout of an MS Project document. Between all my work, it took me 6 or 7 weeks to get it done. I raised my concerns. "These 2 projects are totally different! We can't possible adapt this to our current project"...
He said it was fine. Then he asked me to write a primer/instruction manual. Again have me a hard copy printout to make a softcopy of... It's a primer of how an MS Project document is set up, how to use it, etc... Which is totally different from the first document I worked on.
Bloody idiot.
Anyway!!
When the cat is away, the mice come out to play. I got off work on the dot and went to get my nails done :-)

Portuguese class last night was awful... I really dislike them... Bleh.... I want out, but there is no out, so I have to stick with it.

TGIF! No plans for the weekend yet. What is everyone up to?
