Happy New Year

I spent 31st laying miserable in bed :(
Then the night got long because I slept through the day and couldn't sleep at night. As we all know, misery loves company, so, with no one for me to complain to, I just got more annoyed, hahaha.
Now I feel slightly better (at least, I feel hungry!) but I am skipping the family new year lunch, as I really don't think I could handle a buffet, and all the chaos with children.
So I'm staying home, Apple TV streaming Cesar Milan shows, with a good book, dogs all around me in my single bed (I can't move), and well, I have other forms of entertainment around me (phone, laptop, NDS, etc...)
I feel a little taller now. I think I had a fever yesterday. But I had no actual fever-temperature (readings gave me 34C, which... I'm a dead body? normal body temperatures should be 37C?), and my joints were extra snappy too, even today, every small movement? I'm a snippity snappy body.
Here's to getting better within today and being able to get back to work tomorrow!
