Pre-birthday non-plans
Saturday, 10 January 2015 12:07It's not that I'm tired of birthdays, I just couldn't bring myself to care this year.
I'm not in a sour mood either. It's just... so what?
So anyway, throughout the week, I had a lot of fodder on my mind to write about. But I guess it's all socially and publicly controversial, so perhaps it's best I don't write anything. Mainly it's about people, their reactions to consequences, and well, manners and mannerisms.
Don't even get me started. But I said I wouldn't write it, so no.
My puzzle isn't coming along nicely. Oh, the first steam was wonderful, I got all the colorful parts done. Now it's those tedious all-the-same-color backgrounds that's taken me a week and still I haven't completed it. And that's just half of the puzzle.
I've been watching a lot of Who Do You Think You Are on my Apple TV. It's interesting. So far the most interesting one I watched is the one from Boris Johnson.
I don't know who he is but his commentaries made the whole thing rather fun and enjoyable. I also enjoyed a few others, touching ones, sad ones, all interesting. But maybe Johnson's lighthearted funny comments on many occassions made his more appealing to me?
I've actually been reading too! I'm reading another Nazi-era memoir but this time it's not biting me... the whole writing style just isn't keeping my attention. Then of course there's that S book... but the reading bug hasn't bitten me seriously yet. I'm trying to cultivate that feeling!
