Answer for question 4254.
Thursday, 26 February 2015 13:18[Error: unknown template qotd]I'm quite the introvert. Eye contact confuses me. Or I'm just shy, but usually when I happen to make eye contact with someone, I look away. And then I feel bad, as they know I looked, and I'm still in the middle of going through my mental contact list - "Do I know this person?"
This morning, this happened. I made eye contact with someone (it wasn't even intentional, we just happened to look at each other at the same time), I thought she looked familiar, but my auto-reflex when eye contact is established, is to look away. After that, I remembered who she was: the personal assistant of some big boss or another in another department. And I felt so embarrassed, but I was already two streets away.
I don't know, that's just me, I guess....
