It has been un-interesting

elusivekIt has been an un-interesting weekend. I basically slept the weekend away.
So on Thursday I was fed up with my insistent unending cough and went to the doctor again. I had consumed way too many lozenges that gave me some other complication that I won't write about, but the doctor said it's got nothing to do with the lozenges. Anyway, she gave me a new batch of meds.
Particularly a cough syrup that got me high. So Friday I was crazy at work. My boss had verbally abused me some but I was so high it was basically like water off a duck's back (is that the correct saying?). And then I went for a game of badminton with my friend-colleague. It was fun. It was crazy. Then Saturday I basically slept the whole day. My last dose of medicine was Saturday night, so I slept well through Sunday morning. After lunch, I just hid the bed again and slept till dinner.
It was nice sleeping so much. It is GREAT the cough just disappeared over night. So yay to high-inducing cough syrups.
Over the week some of the excitement that happened was one of the dogs had a mysterious swollen eye, the doctor looked and said it got its eyeball punctured - we all suspect it was the cat. So we had to give the dog some special eye drops every hour the entire night. It's healed up nicely now, and the dog is as lively as ever. So all is good.
One more week of work and next Monday is a holiday for all.... another long weekend... I'm looking forward to it!
