I'm so not a people person 2

elusivekI've been contemplating my daily quirks and all I can say is, I'm really really not a people person.
In the morning when I leave for work, if I see the elevator is already moving, meaning potentially I'll ride with other neighbours, I'd wait it out until I'm sure the elevator is empty. If it stops on the way down while I'm in it, I cringe, as I don't really want to deal with neighbours that early in the day.
I have to say, though, my neighbours are (mostly) nice people and I have nothing against them. It's just me not wanting to deal with people.
I'm by no means a big potato at work, so I'm not playing the entitlement tune. It's just, I also don't like it when the cleaners come cleaning when I get in. I mean, I have 2 office attendants, and I keep telling them to just let the cleaners into my office when they get in at 8.30, so by the time when I'm there at 9.30 the office is already cleaned.
Again, I don't think I'm above them that I shouldn't have to deal with them. When I get to the office, I start working once I'm seated. If the cleaners are around, then I have to stand up for the guy to vacuum under my table or stop my typing as the cleaner wants to clean my desk/keyboard and I can't print stuff as the other cleaner would freak out thinking she pressed a button and made the printer malfunction etc...
I... simply don't want to deal with that in the morning, when reports are issued at like 9.40 and my boss wants everything printed and binded and in sequence by 9.45 (duh, he'd like to have them by 9.30 of course, but the reports aren't even out at that time). I have to be fast. I don't need distractions.
Now that my boss is on holiday, I don't have to do the morning printouts so I don't mind having the cleaners over. But it's now that the office attendants let the cleaners in. Erm, it's probably because now I show up after 10am and the cleaners have done the whole floor and are just waiting to clean my office.
Once I'm done with the morning rush, I can deal with people again. Still doesn't mean I'm a people person. (I hate making phone calls as I can't gauge a person's facial reaction over the phone.)
I think though that I'm improving on the people thing.
