This needs a bit of an explanation. My dad was part of the opening team of this hotel in Macau some 30-something years ago. The restaurant was pretty famous. Then the hotel started to get rundown, as all old, out-of-limelight hotels go. Then it even changed management and changed names (It opened as the Hyatt, now renamed Regency). In this bout of rejuvenating the property, they've opened up this famous restaurant again. The food can't really compare to 30 years ago but it will always win the nostalgic card, I reckon.

So, we had lunch and talked about this place. I remember falling in the lake right here (there was no railing/fence back then). My sis and I were feeding ducks and then I must have lost my footing and fell in. Some manager or waiter or another just pulled me back up, LOL!! After much brainstorming and walks down memory lane during that lunch, the conclusion is, I fell into this lake on 30th December 1986. I suppose it's only fitting that I come again here this year on 30th December 2016 to mark my fall-into-the-lake anniversary.

Don't remember much, I remember my Dad being all calm and drove me home to get a change of clothes then back again because we were going to have dinner there.
