Busy(ish) Saturday?
Saturday, 9 September 2017 23:49Today was a busy(ish) day... The morning was spent doing the chores (as usual)... and I so happened to see the cat with a Pokeball... hence, the Instagram post LOL
Since I was going to have tea with my friends, I had a very light lunch at home and then left to get my nails done.
These are gel based and well, the good thing is they don't chip. Anyway, I bought this "package" simply because I had to make a "show" of "supporting" our company effort (yeah, the place is kind-of related to my company)
Well, I was going to meet with 2 other friends for tea, but then one of them claimed "it's raining cats and dogs" and so she bailed. As my Mom is wont to say, "what? Is she made of sugar? Melts if contact with water?" And my friend J and I had a slight snigger over it. Hey, it was a free tea set. My Dad mysteriously got upgraded at the bank and they gave him a series of coupons and offer letters for free stuff everywhere.
J nagged about her last trip to Europe and confessed her deep love for me as a travel partner. heh.
She also got me a gift! One bracelet and a trick-box. The box has a secret compartment and you have to push the base out, then take off one of the wood tiles on the side, retrieve the key then unlock it. J showed me once then put it back together, then I just took it home. At home, I couldn't take that piece of wood tile and Dad had to use his tools. Then I found out apparently J had slipped the wood tile in upside down, and that's why it was wedged in. But anyway, I'm keeping the box unlocked.
At home, I did a little of add ons to my maincure. The stamping wouldn't last long, but then it's a bit of design to look at for the next few days. When it comes off, I can stamp again. The gel color won't chip, just grow out, should take me 3-4 weeks. Next time I want to do either a dark green or a purple.
Oh, look at the time, it's midnight! Gotta go sleep.
