"Work alone" Day 3
Thursday, 12 October 2017 16:49...as opposed to Home Alone, heh.
Before my Boss took off, I convinced him to sign a signatory delegate so that a colleague can sign some regular stuff for him during his absence. I think that is one of my finest ideas ever coz this way, things won't pile up, urgent issues won't be delayed, and I continue to have something to do everyday, as opposed to keeping everything together and waiting for him to return to sign them off. There are a couple documents that are not regular paperwork and those I've put aside for when he is back.
I've decided to skip out the Oktoberfest here this year. The only thing I'm really missing are the Austrian pancakes (kaiserschmarm or something like that) and well, even so I really doubt it's worth the hustle bustling gang and noise. Skip it is.
I'm still undecided about NaNoWriMo this year but I think I'd like to take a breather this year. I'd like to squeeze a solo trip in November but I'm still undecided. My first thought is Kyoto again but I've been there so many times, maybe I should try to visit somewhere else.
The days are of course going slow but I'm being proactive and getting quite a bit of stuff done.

Date: 2017-10-12 13:35 (UTC)We used to have a place here in town that did an Oktoberfest, but they stopped and no one else picked up on it. Not being a beer drinking, there's not much in it for me.
