Hello from Seoul!
Sunday, 3 December 2017 08:57I'm posting! On a computer!
Long story short, because of the translation job I got, I brought my computer along for this holiday. But the translation place isn't budging, and my friends are all late risers (WTF it's almost 9am and they are still sleeping and I've been ready since 7am) so I have nothing to do right now. Well, I could go down myself and hang around and see what's going. I may just do that after this post.
Just, I have some foodshots to share!
Day 1 MFM > ICN

The Macau Airport looks Christmassy already. But of course. It's only my company that's slow like a snail when putting up seasonal festive decorations. I arrived early, and decided "the heck!" and just dropped off my bags at the check in counter. I had previously checked in online already.
Apparently my American Express card gives me access to the Macau Airport Lounge. Whoot! So when my friends arrived we all went up for breakfast (they had their own pass, don't know how they got those)

When I did the check in, I thought I chose a wonderful seat, but apparantly we were surrounded by kids. The one in front of us played peekaboo and had this huge Piglet. Piglet says hi.

A bit of an in-flight law-breaking, sneaked out a camera for this.

The first thing to do is to get a money pass thingie (Oyster card thingie? Octopus card thingie? It's called T-money here). I don't really dig the LINE characters, but I think this one's alright. It's Koreany. Besides, I collect these money pass cards.

First thing is a late lunch / not-quite-tea / early dinner at this I-forgot-the-name place that serves yummy Pork Knuckles. Yum. It was DELICIOUS! They also had a spicy kimchi something soup that was hot like hell but hey, I managed to down 2 bowls of it and survived. My friends kept saying that it's cold it's cold but so far I thought it's not half that bad.

It eventually got dark (but it was still pretty early) and so we hung around Myeong-dong.

Loads of street food, and they actually looked good! I couldn't really stomach so many things, so we had to be critical in our choosing food.

Our dinner proper was at a barbecue place. Direct Instagram photo input seems to only allow to show the first photo in the set, so the rest of the barbecue photos aren't showing up, sorry!

Any finally, again another rose-shaped ice cream!
And... they are still not up. I guess I'll just go down to starbucks and have a look - I don't intend to eat there, but there was a line of mugs/tumblers a while back in Korean starbucks that I'd like to have. Hopefully there's some leftover!
Righto, I shall see you later then!
