So I’ve survived week 1 of “home alone”! We are all good and no one has died yet, and the apartment is still decent.

I really don’t know why the parents are so deathly afraid that we can’t live on our own.

Anyway, had some time working on stuff this morning, so I got Netflix on to play something. First they recced me a show called “Bordertown”, synopsis and all looked good so I watched... but it was in some language that I couldn’t even tell which language it was. It was somewhat of a Sherlock spin off I guess, with the Mind Palace and all that. Anyway, since it was subbed, that meant I had to always look at the TV. And since that reminded me of Sherlock, I checked to see if they had season 4. Voila, season 4 was there. I’ll watch Bordertown another time when I can concentrate, and let Sherlock play.

Hated it.

Hated it because of John. I liked the Martin Freeman John Watson because he could hold his own, was kind, and was like a beacon to Sherlock, (and seemed like had some intelligence compared to the Book John Watson) back in season one. He was so lovable back then. While Sherlock was (adorably) bad in season one, now in season four he’s the lovable one and John’s just this terrible person. OMG. Why?

Anyway, I only watched episode one. I’ll see if I get to finish the other 2 within this week. I know how the one with his sister turned out, but I didn’t watch the whole thing.

Quick chat with mom just now to catch up, everyone is fine.

One issue with my boss down, one more to go.

Guess I’m gonna go shower and do some pampering. Let’s do some nails!

If I recall correctly, Bordertown is Finnish, though I could be mixing it up with one of the other countries in that corner of the globe. I tried to watch it, but I keep Netflix on in the background while doing other things so I usually stick to shows I can listen to and still follow. That one didn't have an English option, so I passed for now.

Was that The Abominable Bride or am I several seasons behind? Anyways, I thought that one was strange and not very good.

Basically the same reason why I skipped after the first couple of minutes... i wanted to have Netflix just play something while I did something else. Though the bit I watched was interesting, and I intend to watch it another time :-)

I did not pay attention to the title, but I think it’s the one after the Abominal bride. The abominal bride was a movie special I think? I still didn’t follow through to watch the next 2 episodes, so I don’t know if John will get to redeem himself in my eyes (haha)

Sherlock used to be great but it quickly disappeared up its own backside. I hated that last season!

If you do you should post your thoughts! I'd be interested to hear what it's like, especially compared to other detective-type shows.

I think I must be way behind on Sherlock then.

John's a bit annoying and so is his wife. I liked her better when she was a more fun scary assassin. =)
