It’s Friday! My company enforced extra off day! I actually have a lot packed into today and hopefully I can get everything done.



Woke up to this foggy day. We were on the bridge going to Taipa for our morning dog walk. Actually with this fog it’s quite nice to go running; it has the sun blocked out and there’s a bit of a chill wind. Alas, today is not the day as I have a couple of morning appointments, that and my Sis needs to go to work so we have to finish up early.



Trying to eat healthy over here is a very difficult task. If I have the time I can go to a nice healthy restaurant (I heard it’s opened by gym enthusiasts) and have a nice Poke Bowl as on the left. Usually, other restaurants offer something akin to what you see on the right, if you order “healthy”. But I still try.



Which brings me to non-dairy milk. I’m not trying to go vegan, but I like to try out different things. But these nut milks are like... triple and quadruple the price of regular milk. Someone had recommended the unsweetened almond, so I may try that. I’m also curious about the pistachio milk.



And to close this post, here is Bido! Our 17-or-18-year old mutt that is still going strong! Because of the humidity my Sis shaved him so that his under coat can get out easier, but now he feels like a woolly lamb... I like to pat him around now, LOL.

What a good boi! He still looks super young too.

Almond milk was in fashion awhile back but because it's an incredibly wasteful milk to make, the new fad here is oat milk. I prefer oat milk because it's creamier and richer.

Yeah, people are surprised to hear he is that age. We doubted that too (we got him from a family member; thought they actually gave us another dog; long story), but we checked his license and confirmed it’s the same dog.

Oooh, I shall look around and see if I can get oat milk around here. I think I saw that in Hong Kong.

If you're switching milk for environmental reason then be careful with nut milks as almond milk is actually really not eco-friendly at all.

Got it. I’m just trying it out. Not only is it not sustainable for the environment, it’s also not sustainable for my wallet, heh.
