Erm... I think I'm heading downwards in a slump again.

I've been spending a lot of time sleeping and napping.

I've sort of given up on the Animal Crossing game. I keep thinking "I stopped playing on 14-July, so I'll just take a break and "rewind time" to 15-July to pick it up again when I decide to play again"... which in retrospect is not a bad thing... I was spending too much time there.

I was doing so well scheduling my time the last 2 weeks with alternating yoga and running days but last week I was totally lazy and just slept whenever I got home.

I don't want this to happen! I need to gear up and get my life moving!

I want to start reading too! But any book I pick up, I just read 2 lines, and just feel have to put it down.

How do I get my head out of this.....

I really wish I bought a Switch pre-COVID because it is hard to get one now (not really.. would just take a month.. haha).

Sending you positive vibes and encouragement for 'life' to resume! I totally understand though.

What book was the last one that you picked up?

Sometimes rest is just needed, so don't feel like you have to do anything. I completely relate to the being lazy with exercise. It's so easy to be like oh I'll just skip one, and then 3 weeks later... Even if you don't feel like running I would suggest just go for a walk. At least for me, once I'm out there I usually might run a little bit too.

I got the Switch + Animal Crossing two weeks ago so I have no advice for that, haha! I do enjoy the game though, it's also really fun to play with friends since I haven't seen anyone in literal months.

I was reading a book about dogs... I think i picked it up because of some Coursera thing... I think! It started OK, but when the scientific findings started to run round and round in circles (why does it seem like I’ve read this already?) I later figured out it was just the author hashing and re-hashing his study and then supporting his theory with anecdotes and then turning the phrase around and using his theory to support the anecdotes............

And then I lost all will to read...... LOL

I’m trying to do things one step at a time. I’ve managed to sit up in bed and get in my exercise clothes last night........ then just laid down again. Tonight hopefully I can summon enough strength to go take a walk again.

I’m actually quite happy with where I am on Animal Crossing. A couple weeks ago I had no life and was just on the game once I got home, until I went to bed, and then woke up the next morning, check turnip prices, get to work, get home and go on the game again.... so I’m actually a bit elated that I’ve put the game past me. Guess it’s just a burnout for now.
