Friday Five (on a Saturday)
Saturday, 17 October 2020 11:38I was so bored yesterday (my Friday) but the LJ Friday Five didn't update... then I saw
spacefem's post answering questions from an external site, so... I'm answering! But not their this week's questions, as I haven't watched a lot of movies to be able to answer them. So here are last week's questions from http://f.riday5.com/
1. How do you think you’d do in learning to fly a plane?
I think I'd be not bad at it. It's something that you learn by practice. I was pretty good at driving a car when I was learning (stick gear! not auto!), and then I also got by pretty easily when I learning the 1500cc bike (also manual gear!)
2. How do you think you’d do hosting a nationally televised late-night talk show?
This I have all the confidence to say, I won't do well. I don't do well when being recorded, or put on the spot, or to host anything.
3. How do you think you’d do in auto body repair school?
I suppose I'd do OK as well. Again, it's something you practice on, and as long as it's something that I keep on working on it, I could get good.
4. How do you think you’d do as the only occupant of the International Space Station for a year?
I don't think I'll have a problem with the floating around thing, though there might be an issue for me for being alone. While I like my quiet and also usually hide in my room all day, I have to say no man is an island, and I can't just live really alone for a long while. Even if it's just passing by someone to say hello or a greeting. Being totally alone is terrifying, I'd say.
5. How do you think you’d do as a professional dog groomer?
Oh, I'll get on swimmingly. I'm by no means professional, and I don't know how to cut a dog yet, but hey sure, washing a dog is fun. I do that regularly (haha read on, not really LOL). I have to wash 4 dogs whenever the dogs need a wash (admittedly, they could get washed more regularly than the usual 3 times a year, but hey, they're healthy and their coats shine and they don't stink). I just have to learn how to cut/trim/shave fur and trim nails. But since my Sis is the in-house dog groomer, I just let her do those.
