I like to think of nifty things to make but I never really execute or have the artistic capability to execute them.
2. Do you own a sewing machine and what brand is it? If you don’t sew, do you own a glue gun?
I don't have an actual sewing machine, but I do have one of those handheld sized sewing machine which I used once to stitch.... a long straight row LOL. I also have a glue gun handy, just in case
3. What is the bane of your sewing/crafting existence? I mean, is it button holes, zippers,
or something else?
I just think I don't have the patience to get these crafty things done. I love cross stitches, but I don't have the patience to go through all the colors and following point by point (or, I would say pixel by pixel). I could finish a cross stitch thing if I put my mind to it, but where other people finish a cross stitch project and you turn it over and it looks really neat and clean and pretty, the thing I did would definitely be disastrous when you flip it over LOL.
4. When and how did you learn to sew or craft?
A very different set of education system here, I never learnt to really sew. We had a couple of crafting classes in primary school, I was never good at them. We had a knitting project that Mom actually finished for me (LOL), then for my dreaded catechism classes we had to make a stable, and my cousin helped me design and build the whole thing. We also had a couple of cooking classes but it was just baking cookies. In secondary school (high school) there were no crafting classes at all. I guess it was just expected that you should know how to sew. I mean, I can mend clothes and secure a button back in place if I have to, but I'm not able to like, design and sew a blouse or skirt or something.
5. What do you consider your sewing/crafting opus or is it still a work in progress?
I don't think I'd every start another "opus" again LOL. My Slytherin scarf took me over 10 or even 15 years to finish. It's hardly perfect but I am darn proud of myself!

At least I finished it within 20 years. My Mom has been crocheting (or knitting, I don't even remember) a blanket, supposedly for me, for the past......... 30 maybe 40 years (before I was born)... and it's just lying up there somewhere in her overhead storage cabinet.
