Under the weather
Saturday, 20 February 2021 16:22Literally, I'm sick.
I've been having this sore-ish throat since a month ago and went to the doctor to "cure it before it strikes me down". The doctor said I wasn't quite that sick yet, but he'd given me some medicine to help. Seeing as I was being prone to getting sick, and I hadn't been running as much, I started to take vitamins daily as well.
The last few days I've been having this headache on the left side of my head, until today, I can actually feel my sinus being a bit swollen, on the left side of my face... and I can feel that the swell is pulling on my headache, heck, even the left side of my jaw/teeth feel a bit numb.
Took some painkillers, didn't abate the headache. Now I've started to sneeze a bit and the left nostril has started to feel sometimes blocked, and sometimes runny. AND I'm also feeling really hungry, despite having just eaten. So. Yeah. It's official. I've got a cold.
Took some flu and cold medicine, and I'm just gonna lie here in bed and hope it all goes away. Still going for badminton tonight. My theory is I need to exercise my upper respiratory track, so, I will still go badminton tonight! Maybe I'll feel better by then!
Why do I only get sick on the weekends? I don't mind getting sick on the workweek so I can use up my 6 days sick leave.
